Roof replacement in Eastern North Carolina

A look at our recent work

Whether your roof is at the end of its life, storm-damaged, or just needs an honest second opinion, the process starts the same way: a real look at the roof, not a guess from the ground.

01 — Free roof report

Aerial imaging shows the real condition of your roof — what’s worn, what’s damaged, and what replacement would involve.

02 – Honest recommendation

We’ll tell you plainly if replacement is actually the right call, or if a repair would hold for longer — not the more expensive answer by default.

03 – Clear scope, clear price

Everything we can see goes into your written scope and price before work starts. We don’t pad estimates, and we don’t under-write them either — if something is visible, it’s accounted for.

04 – The work, done right

A full roof replacement, down to bare decking — no roofing over the old roof, no leftover underlayment — new decking where needed, CertainTeed materials, and a clean job site when it’s done, backed by manufacturer and workmanship warranties.

How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?

We start every job the same way — a free roof report that shows the actual condition of your roof. If a repair will genuinely hold, we’ll say so. If it’s time to replace, we’ll show you why.

Do you ever roof over the existing shingles to save time?

No. Every replacement we do goes down to bare decking — we remove the old shingles and the old underlayment completely before anything new goes down. It takes longer than roofing over an existing layer, which is a shortcut some contractors take, but it’s the only way to actually inspect the decking underneath and install a roof system that performs the way it’s supposed to.

What materials do you use?

CertainTeed architectural shingles as our standard, installed to CertainTeed’s specifications by a credentialed contractor. We’ll walk through your specific options and what’s included at your roof report.

What if you find something once the roof comes off?

We price your proposal based on everything we can see during the roof report — we don’t pad estimates or under-write them. But some things only become visible once the old roofing is off. If that happens, we’ll document what we found and walk you through why it matters before it’s added as a change order. If you have an open insurance claim, those items are billed as supplementals to your carrier after the work is complete, not added to your out-of-pocket cost upfront.

Will you work with my insurance company?

If your replacement is related to storm or wind damage, we provide the documentation to support your claim and work alongside your adjuster. The claim itself stays between you and your insurer — we support the process, we don’t take it over.

How long does a full roof replacement take?

Most single-family roof replacements are completed in one to a few days depending on size, pitch, and weather — we’ll give you a specific timeline once we’ve scoped your roof.

Is financing available?

Yes — ask us about financing options at your roof report if you’d rather spread the cost over time.

Is the roof report really free?

Yes, with no obligation to move forward.
